The Landscape and Self.

The landscape has a continuing influence on my ‘self’ and my work. It is an evolving reciprocal relationship in which I am taking part as an active character, recording the interaction between humans and the planet.

The Spring flowers in my garden seem to have subconsciously informed these Ikebana arrangements. Having completed them I found the colours reflected around me.

My surroundings generate ideas, and as I create new works from the landscape, the landscape creates my ‘self’.
